I've been tattooing since the 90's and this is the first studio I've owned. Better late than never I guess ! I taught my wife to tattoo 3 years ago so there's no escaping the needle if we have a quiet Sunday !

I've worked in several other studios and gained invaluable experience from all of them. Wendy and Chris at Kustom Kulture in Weston-super-Mare, Ruth at Eternal Tattoos in Dorking and Rick who owned Skin Illustrations in Canterbury, all great people to work for and with whom to keep in touch. A special thanks goes to Barry Holmes who I worked with in my first professional tattooing role at Silent Scream in Devon in the mid-90's (sadly the studio is no longer open) who dragged me kicking and screaming to the blunt end of the tattooing machine. It's his fault I'm here today!

A lot of people ask "Why Seaford"? It's a small town and Brighton and Eastbourne are just down the road. Pure and simple, my wife grew up here and we both love the place. It's still pretty affordable to live here, parking and eating out is cheaper and this is reflected in the hourly rate we charge for custom work. The studio is above the busiest, coolest barbers in town and the guys (and girls) are great people to share a building with.

I'm not interested in making a quick buck out of tattooing and retiring early. Tattooing is my passion and I'm here in Seaford for good! My customers remain pretty loyal and they keep coming back to me for more. A lot of my work is through recommendation and many of my customers from years ago have continued to have work done by me regardless of how far they have to travel.

We don't stock masses of flash as people just don't want it anymore. Everyone is individual and it's an individual piece of work they want. I specialise in custom and cover-up work and all consultations are free. I do not charge for drawing up artwork, however I do require a minimum £20 deposit. Although there are a lot of walk-ins, appointments are preferred as we get pretty booked up from the middle of the week through to the weekend. Our studio is 'compact and bijou' so available waiting space is very limited. We are open from 9a.m. to 5.30p.m. Monday to Saturday and Sundays are by appointment only. PLEASE NOTE : ACCESS IS THROUGH THE BARBER SHOP AND UP THE STAIRS. We have had new customers wandering aimlessly trying to find the entrance!

We are always interested in the health of our customers so please tell us if you suffer from diabetes, circulation problems etc. Unlike some inexperienced tattooists, we are well aware that the healing process slows down considerably if an individual suffers from these conditions. Allowances need to be made for such customers and the correct aftercare needs to be followed in every case.

It should go without saying that our studio is registered and licensed with the local Health Authority. We maintain strict hygiene procedures, use single use sterile needles and autoclaved sterile hardware (which should be standard procedure in any professional studio).
